After a collision a vehicle usually cannot roll, steer, or both, so it comes out on a flatbed with the wheels dollied or skated as the damage requires. We sweep up the glass and plastic, pick up what fluid we can, and get the lane open, because the second crash at an accident scene is the one that finds the people standing near it.
When you call, tell us whether anyone is hurt and whether police are on scene, then let the officer know a truck is coming. The vehicle can go to a body shop, to a storage lot, or to your own driveway, and we can hold it while you sort out where it belongs if that decision has not been made yet.
